Examining In Situ Acoustic Conditions for Enhanced Occupant Satisfaction in Contemporary Offices

Indoor acoustic quality is one of the critical indicators for occupants’ health, comfort, and productivity in contemporary office environments. Post-occupancy evaluation (POE) usually employed to examine situ measurements ensure indoor quality. However, prevailing performance does not often consider technical attributes building systems (TABS) holistically investigate significant correlations between objective field subjective POE. As such, this study proposes cross-examine perceived indices with TABS quantify factors leading enhanced occupant satisfaction. Statistical analyses suggest that can significantly influence satisfaction compared sound levels recorded offices.
